If you wished to equate for all the petroleum usage in the u k, with solar panels, they would have to cover forty % of the land. And apparently this is sustainable. But nobody's willing to think about that, because the great god progress will, you knowillllook unkindly on you. You have to believe that. They're not able to grasp it. Maybe we've just had a joy ride. We've spent the last 300 years going whe burning through the contentsof rscarbon stash. Thats that is totally unthinkable for people. It's like trying to tell a mediaeval peasant thatthe god and his saints and angels aren't in heaven any more
