Having an emergency fund in place will provide you with a much-needed comfort of flexibility and an element of security for yourself. You know, you hear it called go away money but that simply means you can tell your boss to go away - potentially. Having six months' worth of expenses behind you is an incredible piece of mind. So the obvious question I think then is how much should an emergency fund be?
