How to Be a More Creative Quantitative Trader
There certainly are quantitative traders who trade the types of systems that should remain purely rules-based and exercise no discretion in the execution. I would, however, say that some of those traders probably should be a little bit more open to the creative aspect of doing research. And it could literally be as simple as if you normally sit at your desk, then take a printout out and go for a walk or something like that.
