The Importance of Densification in Inner City Melbourne

Jeff: We need to encourage densification in areas that people ultimately also want to live. So this would be like, do you mean like those inner city, like the nice and affluent 20 minutes from the city kind of places? Chris: There's a real pressure for allowing densification in these areas which is great for future generations. But it'll affect some homeowners that is particularly around those busier roads that may have an apartment block and that's a great property. And so even though this is system that's going to change what you want to do as a property investor go, what can I buy that's still going to stay really scarce?"
