The University System Has Taken a Pessimistic Turn
There's a pervasive pessimism that exists throughout Western civilization. Why this is, I don't think anyone has a good explanation,. But there are hunches, conjectures, guesses that people have about sort of what might be causing this culture. Now my idea is that it could just be a simple matter of logic as well as, coupled with, the careerism that exists now in the intellectual community.
