The History of Gunpowder
Jiska led a Hussite defence against an overwhelmingly large crusader force, this time defending the city of Prague. He made excellent use of gunpowder weapons being fired from fixed positions and also used terrain to his advantage. The battle demonstrates how an age of warfare was coming to an end. Gunpowder weaponry was steadily obsolete in the heavy armour of traditional medieval troops.
