The Harms of Smoking
Islam has a much more nuanced view of harm that's based on a fall in realistic appreciation of what the human being actually is, he says. The harms are spiritual, the harms are ultimately leading to destruction in the afterlife, which is a worse kind of harm than getting lung cancer or dying from it. And we're still very new and we need something like non-realism as part of our social trend towards subjectivism - especially in the realm of moral life.
