Gravitational Lensing in a Galaxy Cluster
In gravitational lensing, we have a the huge mass that is this cluster. There's thousands of galaxies here, and there's also a lot of dark matter. And all that mass is actually distorting space time. So you'll have a distant, faint galaxy that's nearly behind this galaxy cluster. But then it gets warped and magnified into these long, curved arcs.
