You wrote in the recent work on empathy that too much empathy in teams is a frequent problem. I was struck by something else. You write, highly empathetic team leaders and team members often refrain from providing constructive feedback to team members who break norms or under perform on the team. This is one of the common problems we see in teams. So i think delivering negative feedback is a fine art in leadership, and many people don't quite have it right.
