The 15-Minute City: A Good Thing for the Climate

Only the rich will get everything they need within a quarter of an hour. Those that are less well-off will be forced to travel further. If they travel by car, that also means more planet-warming gases. Jay thinks history will likely repeat itself with 15-minute cities. Because of this lack of investment, legacy and poor areas, Jay says it could drive up house and rental prices for locals who can no longer afford it.
