Is Remi Fennell Safe for the Mom?
Remi Fennell is definitely inferior to niraxial anesthesia, but it's equivocal to nitrous oxide and maybe synergistic with nitrous oxide. It may cause a reduction in B2B variability which again, they influence obstetrical delivery decision making. The incidence of respiratory depression for the mom may be anywhere from 15 to 40% depending on the definition of respiratory depression. And that in comparison to epidural energy, there are lower O2 saturations and higher end tidal CO2 on external monitoring.
