The Importance of Return on Invested Capital
One of the things I'm just going to pull apart what you said a little bit there with a few different questions. Return on invested capital can you just explain why that particular metric is so important to you yeah. If they are reinvested in that into the business as opposed to paying it out in the dividend and they're reinvesting it and generating a higher return for the company then that's how you get these great compounding businesses like Amazon, which has not generated a profit really from the retail division but poured all this capital back into the business.
