The Importance of Hard Work

At the age of 16, Walt Disney applied for summer jobs at the post office. He was turned away because he wasn't old enough to work there. When his foot healed and he returned to his newspaper routes, he had decided to become a cartoonist. His cartoons reflected his own impatience to join the war effort in World War I.
