The Benefits of Cross Training for Recovery Running
Cross training is generally less stress on the body. Sometimes you are able to actually lower that intensity, because maybe you're less experienced or you just take it easier. Skiing develops like the multi-disciplinarity that is always good to have. You need to sometimes give those muscles some rest and doing different activities also develops coordination. And in the end, they make you a better athlete in, I think, that is important.
