Leonard's first murders were with his brother Donald and best friend Charles Gunner in 1983. Using their identities, Leonard continued cashing in their disability checks to fund the building of his operation Miranda bunker. On July 9th 1984 Charles reunited with Leonard after being released from Leavenworth. Only two days later, it's believed that Charles murdered a disc jockey named Don Giuliani at Leonard's orders. On July 25th Charles and Leonard abducted and murdered three more victims, a couple named Harvey and Deborah Dubbs, along with their 16-month-old baby Sean.
