The Lord's Judgement of the Edomites
Edomites were removed from their former territory, which was now occupied by the Nabatean Arabs with old Edomites cities and fortresses falling into ruins. The Lord would doom such efforts to futility, demonstrating his sovereignty over nations beyond Israel's borders. Deuteronomy 15, verse 21 is one of the verses that speaks about unfitting sacrifices.
