The God of Israel, May You Find Rest in the House of a Husband?
The word rest, that was what the israelites were seeking when they left egypt. That's what they were seeking as they went through moab the first time on their way to the promised land. The lord did want to give his children rest in terms of a fulness of glory. And that wasn't just a re marriage in moab or something more than that. But here in verse nine and then in verse ten, i want you to ask yourself these questions. When naomi says that to ruth and orpa, what's that going to mean for them?
