The impact he had on literature and writers of literature and critics and readers, which was enormous, was and has been enormous. We are a bit ahead of ourselves. So let's hit the reset button. We're going to do a couple of things. To day. Freud is too big, too vast and too important to literature to cover him in just one episode. But we'll take a quick break and then we'll have the first half of our discussion of freud. This will be devoted to his life and his major works
