React - JavaScript Ends and the DOM Starts

When I started coding, the field was much smaller than it is today because I'm old. There used to be a saying like, how a real programmer and again, you know, what does that even mean? The real programmer is constantly surprised at how much people are willing to pay them to do something that they would do for free. What I'm seeing these days is that a lot of more people are doing it for a living. It's not what drives, it's not like their primary consideration.
