How to Be an Advertising Man
In high school he took an aptitude and interest test. He was good for three things: astronaut, adventurer and advertising man. At 16 he decided to call the president of every ad agency in the phone book starting with the A's all the way to the Zs. One gentleman named Bob Mackelaire who had a PhD in theology said you know you should start in the mailroom. Within six months he wrote a marketing plan from scratch I'm my dad's old Remington. They couldn't crack this new business thing called wagon wheels which is like a round biscuit.
