I remember a few distinct things from that walk. He had just come back, i think, from cape canavrel in florida with nassau. I subscribed to his notes to inspire, which are daily emals with quotes that he sends out. Ironically, i ended up running his notes to inspiring for many years later. And then it was david, the guy who tried to gate keep me out,. He thought i was a bigger deal than i was, cause i was not a big deal. But i was like, oh, my god, ye. Like, opportunity to represent simon in his work in the movement and to learn more, it was amazing.
