Is There Any One Who Can Say to Putin?
The decision to invade ukraine can't have been made on the basis of ideology alone. Wasn't cold, hard reality, the likelihood of staunch ukranian resistance ever even considered? I mean, russia has obviously a gigantic intelligence gathering capacity. How could putin believe that the population of ukraine would welcome russian troops as liberators? And they've already found themselves involved in a struggle which will be absolutely disastrous in its implications for Russia. Is there any one, then who can say to putin? Hang on a minute.
