Creating a Safer Environment for People to Walk

I've been really advocating the infrastructure necessary to create a safer environment for folks to. And so we've added hundreds of miles of bike lanes to our communities. There's one particular area that I'm extremely proud of, which there are many children who have been unfortunately died not together, but except for incidents over a multiple year period. We rebuilt the road to lane facility, put in bike lanes, put in sidewalks, put in pedestrian scale lighting and you can go there at any time of day or night.
