The Nuclear Family Thing

I feel like it should be normalized. The fact that you need to put up with your shitty relatives and you need to help them is just the way things have been since the dawn of time. I think in the US in particular comes from like the unique just rootlessness of the culture here. And yeah, whatever your dad's a narcissist, you know, join the club. What can I say? It's tough. But I definitely agree on a nuclear family thing. You don't get to opt out of things. For sure.
