Adolescents are willing to take bigger risks to get the reward. But how do consequences fit into all o this then? Well, it's not that they don't understand that they could get in for speaking out at night, or that they could getting in trouble for running the light. And because there's a thrill to being with your friends, making your friends for being the hero,. and doing something that adults don't want you to do.
