The Second End of Crimean History

The 1960s saw a minor renaissance of Ukrainian culture led by young writers, uncreatively known as the 60s group. The oldest attested people who left behind her in trace are in or around Crimea and they're the Greeks and the Jews. In 1966, Juba gave a speech, which was a kind of breakthrough in Ukrainian Jewish relations. That was all part of this moment of relative freedom of Ukrainian culture.
