Why is it that once you're locked into a patrilinial system, women can't bust out of that? I think it's because i was saying before that, well, o cas, this comes back to your point about biology. Within a matrilennial system, women don't really cloister men. We don't know. In a matrilenial system inambia, they don't put men in a box,. or men the high wall a vail and so on. So there are mechanisms within the kinship system that kind of suppress the emegence of patri.
