The AAD's Statement on Chemical Versus Physical Filters

AAD still state on their website that chemical filters absorb and physical filters reflect. Is it because it's hard to officially change the messaging? Well, I think the American Academy of Dermatology mission is to treat patients, right? So a dermatologist has to provide solutions to whatever it is that either acute or chronic or preventative, right? And I think the remnants that you see on the website are those of the science interns that maybe primarily exploit the explanation in terms of how different subsequent functions function.
