Is Debugging a Good Idea?

I think that there are plenty of processes in the world that slow things down already. And it's much harder to speed things up. So I'll tend to bias towards tools that will make me faster. But not so many that help you get interesting, relevant inputs more quickly. The use of libraries in computing seems closely related where some particular libraries will become so canonical. They become like infrastructure that everybody uses, but nobody ever thinks about.
