How to Deal With Perfectionism in Kids and Teens

Jennifer says perfectionism was normal in her family as well. She believes you can change it by unwinding some of those unhelpful patterns and that sort of like exposure work essentially to handing your assignments in after doing like credits worth of effort each time. In kids and younger teens I'd say you'll see them tearing up their work or redoing it repeating that work, meltdowns if they make a mistake and social mistakes too. Jennifer would you be able to give us some examples of what perfectionism could look like in kids and in teens and in adults just so that it's always easier for people to identify?
