Is the Myth of Culture Rootless?

To be rootless is to have no relationship with and not be grounded in the meaning making images which have been forged in the smithy human soul. I think this is the cultural significance of analytical psycology, or culture as a dream. The dreams of culture are called myths. As the dream is to the individual person, the myth is to the culture. It's a message from the other world. And we know that we're dealing with mythology on a grand scale.
