What Is the Difference Between Principal and Senior UX Researcher?

In your past, you were also a senior UX researcher and a UX researcher. How are the expectations different at every level? I'm very new in my role at Variant, but they hired me for a two-part role. One is implementing research operations and complementing the UX design operations. But that also complements and allows me to do my own research.
