He says a project that had stalled for six months got resolved within a month, because the group was honest in describing what they were struggling with. "What color does it feel like? If this was a drink, what kind of drink would it be?" he asks. 'If it was an animal,. what kind of animal would it be? What kind of movie would it be?' People make sense of it much faster because they feel safe describing that movie, that color, that animal, but they don't find it as safe to describe their own feelings and emotions in that context
