Parkinson's Disease - What Are the Side Effects of Dopamine Replacement?

A lot of the non-motor symptoms are actually exacerbated by dopamine replacement. Be careful with those when you're prescribing for your restless leg or if someone has Parkinson's and ask about those symptoms. If somebody is on a higher dose of Parkinson's medicines and you get even a slight hint of dizziness, we want to make sure we check those orthostatic signs in the office.
