Stoicism in Rome

Seneca's letters to Lasilius are one of his last works. They're written after he's fallen out with Nero between 62, perhaps and 64. Remarkably, the letters have absolutely nothing to say about Nero. Stoicism is very much part of how they saw themselves, Mary says.
