How to Be a Better Researcher

I love looking into the GitHub repos that people are actually using and that usually gives me a sense for what are the actual problems that people have. There's way too much ML research out there, so many papers out there. Archive is kind of flooded. It's like 16% of all papers produce. I don't know if it's a good use of time for me to be completely honest. You do interviews and I assume you just observe and don't prescribe anything. Then you look at those GitHub issues and you try to dig through from production. What is this orientation? Is there a research methodology that you're super influenced by that guides you like this?
