The Importance of Detail in Emoji Design

i have a suspicion that apple is setting up all of these emoji is being animated things in the future to maybe integrate with the face recognition on their phone. i've been another free booting victim recently but it did highlight one of my little gripes about free booters  that i don't think i've raised before which is quite interesting. Is there some depth left unplumbed on this topic? We'll find out!
