I'm wondering if you could maybe expand upon it and weave in somehow your thoughts on the notion of technique. This phrase listening naively is quite arresting. And I imagine when you're describing your irritations and sympathies or training candidates, which in addition to this being my first interview, I'm also about to begin not analytic training, but training in graduate school. Can you define what analytic technique is and perhaps even what it conceals? Well, I'm glad that you ended that question the way he did because the first thing I would say about analytic technique is the concept itself is deceptive.
