Conversion Disorder and its Diagnostic Significance

This chapter explores the diagnostic significance of conversion disorder in patients who have been to multiple doctors without any findings of a specific disease. It discusses the common co-occurrence of anxiety disorders, depressive disorder, and personality disorders with conversion disorder, as well as the presence of secondary gains that may be motivating factors for feigning symptoms.
