Is Automation a Good Idea?
Not everything can be automated away. Some things are better when done by workers, or are at least different. The automation of some of these agricultural processes might even have been responsible for shifting the american palates of the 19 sixties and 19 seventies towards blander less healthy food. And so a lot of what we might ate to happen if we're thinking only one step ahead, ends up not happening in the real world. So it's just is really interesting dynamic. But it requires people to sort of think a few steps ahead, rather than just think immediately towards while this can be automate away.
