In a global recession being Japan, you would expect Japanese investors to export less capital abroad than they would when the economy is growing. That's why in a slowdown, the yen gets a bit in principle. What you need to see to get the Japanese back in the dollar market is a re-steepening of the curve. And I actually think we could get that next year.
