The Dangers of the Second World War

The bulk of this episode is going to look at how some of the smaller nations of Europe were approaching the increasingly dangerous political situation in Europe during the 1930s. In Eastern Europe there were various agreements between nations who tried to rid themselves of previous disagreements between themselves or at least pool their resources against larger neighbors. Then we will also look at the indiable position of nations, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, as they were stuck between Germany and France while sitting on the most likely invasion route if either nation wanted to attack the other.
