The Function of Wisdom in the Abhidhamma

In the Abhidhamma wisdom or in Pali it's called Panya is one of the twenty five beautiful mental states. The functioning of wisdom is likened to turning on a light in a darkened room. We can see things clearly know things as they are. But super mundane right view is about cutting through that great Gordian knot of self. So noble right view or awakened right view is described in two different ways in the sutas.
