The Impact of Boris Johnson on the Tories

The impact of Boris Johnson as a person, as a personality is going to be pretty crucial here. When I was out speaking to people doing the dreaded Vox Pops on the streets in Upsbridge, they really wanted to talk about Boris Johnson. They were very complimentary about him. A lot of them remembered him kind of turning up at the pub and buying a round of drinks or turning up at their children's school fate. The Tories should be worried not just because of the satisfaction of the current government, but for that seemingly still lingering affection for Boris Johnson too.
