absolute adjectives are words that are either yes or no. You can't sort of be a little bit or completely or more than just yes or no, it's binary. There's no grading. Not even with words like completely. Dead is an example of an absolute adjective, either it's it is or it isn't. And the opposite unequal. That makes me think of animal farm. It's kind of funny and ironic because obviously you can't be more or less equal, either you're equal or not. Now here is a list of some absolute adjectives and their opposites. We also have essential and extraneous as well: dead and alive, fatal and full and empty.
