Is There a Difference Between Defensive Force and Vengeance?
i am not a pacivist. I do believe we have to imitate jesus non violence. There's a difference between defensive force and vengeance, right? If you're defending someone breaking into your home and hurting your children, that's defensive force. But if the next week you go to their home and kill everybody else, that's vengeance. And i think laws is the defence we have against, against mimetic conflict. Ad it's one of the reasons, right, that, like, you lookat the breakdown of all political and injudicial institutions in the last several years,. why it's so dangerous.
