We saw a repetition of that kind of Irish Black solidarity in the late 1960s as well with the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Movement. You had someone like Bernadette Devlin going from Northern Ireland to meet with Black Panthers and Civil Rights activists. How important and problematic do you think the valorization of the victim is in this kind of politics?
