When i was in college, i really wanted to study abroad. But those programmes were prohibitively expensive. So the cheapest way to do that would just be to graduate and then go over seas. And so that was sort f what I did,. except that when i graduated, i didn't have any money, so i had to get a job. It a newspaper for three years. And the entire time that i was there, i was like just fanatically saving money. In the evenings and week ends, i would write freelance articles for magazines and newspapers. And i made anywhere from at the low end, 50 bucks an article to at the high end, 50 cents a word.
