The Simulation Argument
Thomas: I appreciate the argument as an example for theology which i can remain agnostic about compared to standard issue theologies. The simulation argument is kind of like that of course it's couched in this language of computers and technology and physics but it's not really, he says. He argues that our universe is simulated within some other universe which might very well obey completely different laws of physics. If we do so then inside of that computer at some point especially if that computer is running a simulation will be produced life who eventually evolves into intelligent creatureswho will invent computers on which they will simulate universes.
