Daphne's Murder - A Barbaric Attack on Freedom of the Press
Malta's Prime Minister, Joseph Muscat, called her murder a barbaric attack on freedom of expression that goes against every sense of decency and civility. He said that everything will be done to find Daphne's killers, and announced a 1 million euro reward for information that would lead to their capture. So what happened? Surely it couldn't be that hard to find some information. Malta is, after all, a tiny island which makes it hard to escape. But surprise surprise, nothing. Crickets as the American expression goes, meaning there was complete silence.
